Functionality

This function does the following:

"Count all the employees scheduled in the work area with

at least the minimum skill level defined in the Core Scheduling

requirement. Check that for every quarter hour, the minimum number

of employees with the required skill level (or higher skill level)

is scheduled."

For a work area in an organization for a schedule week, the core

scheduling requirements are read. Core scheduling requirements can be

something like:

From 09:00 to 15:00 require at least 2 people with skill level 7

From 15:00 to 21:00 require at least 3 people with skill level 9

For every quarter hour within the core scheduling period (e.g.,

09:00 to 15:00), each partner's segments in the work area are checked.

For every quarter, track the number of people scheduled with skill

level N or higher. Note that even though the core coverage structure

includes qualification-related fields, in the initial release of the

Retail software, qualification is not a part of the core scheduling

requirement, so the function ignores the qualification fields.

Return the date on which the exception first occurs.

Example

For the week 06/16/2003-06/22/2003, the exception first occurs

on 06/18/2003 (i.e., core coverage is OK on 06/16/2003 and on

06/17/2003). Return the date 06/18/2003, and stop checking for

the rest of the week (to improve performance).
