WRF_MATGRP_HIERID_READ - Reads Active Article Hierarchy

Functionality

This function module returns the hierarchy ID that is defined for a certain distribution chain.

If you supply a distribution chain, the FM searches for a hierarchy ID for this distribution chain labeled as application-relevant in WRF_MATGRP_HIER. If no entry is found, the FM searches for a hierarchy ID labeled as application-relevant and valid across all clients in WRF_MATGRP_HIER. If you do not supply a distribution chain, the FM searches directly in WRF_MATGRP_HIER for a hierarchy ID labeled as application-relevant and valid across all clients.
