Use

This structure is for a customer enahncement in the depreciation calculation program. It is used to return partially calculated data to the user exit. This data can then be used in the user exit, for example. The calculated data includes primarily information on periods that contain the time periods for depreciation calculation.

  1. PERAFA
Number of periods for which depreciation is to be calculated in current year
  2. PERAFAGW
Weighted number of periods from PERAF, if the periods are not weighted uniformly (4-4-5 rule)
  3. PERFY
Number of base periods for depreciation calculation, corresponding to the fiscal year variant, except for depreciation to the day, where it is always 365 regardless of leap years
  4. PERFY_GJ
Number of base periods in current fiscal year. The value of PERFY_GJ is usually the same as the value of PERFY. However, there can be differences, either for shortened fiscal years or when the useful life is less than one year.
  5. RPEREND
Relative end of depreciation calculation in current year in periods since the year 0 (for example, end in period 12 of fiscal year 2000 with 13 fiscal periods = 2000 * 13 + 12 = 26012 )
  6. RPERBEG
Relative start of depreciation calculation in current year in periods since the year 0 (for example, start in period 1 of fiscal year 2000 with 13 fiscal periods = 2000 * 13 + 1 = 26001 )
  7. RAFBEG
Relative start of depreciation in periods since the year 0 (for example, the depreciation start period of an asset was in period 1 in fiscal year 1990 with 13 fiscal periods = 1990 * 13 + 1 = 25871 )
  8. RAFEND
Relative end of depreciation in periods since the year 0. This date is normally the result of adding the total useful life in periods and the relative depreciation start RAFBEG. When depreciation continues beyond the end of planned life, this value increases by the number of fiscal periods in a year for each year beyond the end of planned life.
  9. BISPER
Normally, depreciation is calculated to the end of the fiscal year. In certain situations, such as depreciation posting or when determining proportional value adjustments for retirement, depreciation is only calculated to a certain period. In that case, the period to which calculation should take place is entered here. Otherwise the value for the field is 0.
  10. GESDAU
Total duration of depreciation in periods calculated from the useful life
  11. RESDAU
Remaining useful life in relation to the fiscal year start
