Use
The planning trigger is the technical control part for quantity planning. The trigger contains information on the period for which planning is to be performed for individual editions, delivery types, distribution channels etc. It also contains the date from which planning is to take place in the form of a lock date.
These are selection parameters for the planning program synchronized with areas for which planning was already performed with later changes to the planning tables.
Maintenance
A special function is provided for maintaining the planning trigger in table form.
