T5PBSR2F - Special MSO Calculation Rules

Use

This table is used to configure the month of which the OW (Ordinary Wages) is dependable on in the event of computing the MediSave Contribution for additional wages. This table is required only for those special bonuses whereby the computation is based on the OW of other pay periods. That is, the computation of the medisave contribution is not dependable on the current payroll period.

Maintenance

The special bonuses are defined in the first wage type collumn. A second evaluation wage type has to be created and maintained in the table T539J with all the base wage types that contributes to forming the OW in the medisave contribution computation. Maintain the period of which the OW is dependable on and select the year of which the OW is reference to. For example, if the OW is dependable on April of current year, then the pay period should have the value "04" and the Current Year box should be checked. Similarly, if the OW is always dependable on December of previous year, then the pay period should have the value "12" and the Previous Year box should be checked.
