| Activating Workload Statistics |

| To activate the workload statistics, set the parameter |
| %%stat/level%% in the system profile to value 1. You can deactivate |
| the response time statistics by setting the parameter |
| %%stat/level%% to 0. |
| You can set this parameter in the instance profiles of the |
| instances for which you want to compile statistics. |
| Alternatively, you can set the parameter in the standard |
| profile DEFAULT.PFL if you want to activate the performance |
| monitor for all instances of your R/3 System. |
| Once you have activated the response time statistics, all |
| response time profiles and hit lists are available, except for |
| table accesses. If you set the parameter in the instance |
| profile to 0, the recording statistics data is deactivated only |
| on the instance which uses the profile. If you set the |
| corresponding parameter in the standard profile, the record |
| entry is interrupted on all instances, providing no contrary |
| parameter setting exists in their local profiles. |
