| One of four parameters (see also %%cpuid/trunc_size%%, |
| %%cpuid/behind_last%% and %%cpuid/before_first%% ), which are used |
| to control how long external server names are converted to R/3 |
| servers IDs. |

| Only the part that comes before the first occurrence of this |
| character is used. The default value is '.' and can be used with |
| most domain name servers. Example: |
| External name: hs0011.wdf.sap-ag.de |

| If the value is empty, the function is deactivated. |
