| This parameter defines the time after which connections in status |
| DISCONNECT are released. |

| A connection goes in to the status DISCONNECT when one side of the |
| connection breaks off due to an error, but the other side has read |
| the error information. |
| |
| A value of 0 deactivates the release of such connections. |
| |
| This check is executed a maximum of every %%gw/max_sleep%% seconds. |
| Therefore, it does not make sense to set the value smaller than |
| gw/max_sleep. |
| |
| Connections to registered server programs are not closed; in this |
| case, the parameter has no effect. |
