| This parameter specifies the maximum time in seconds for which the |
| gateway read process sleeps on the select. |
| |
| Periodic checks, which are performed within the gateway, are |
| performed a maximum of every gw/max_sleep seconds. |
| These are, for example: |
| Connections in status DISCONNECT are deleted |
| ( parameter %%gw/conn_disconnect%% ) |
| Inactive gateway-gateway connections are closed |
| ( parameter %%gw/gw_disconnect%% ) |
| Connections in status CONN_PENDING are closed |
| ( parameter %%gw/conn_pending%% ) |
| Inactive connections using SAProuter are closed |
| ( parameter %%gw/close_routes%% ) |
| Connections to external programs are checked |

| Started programs are checked |
