| Use this parameter to control the buffer synchronization. |
| - sendon Buffer synchronization is activated. This means that |
| changes to buffered objects are logged in table DDLOG. |
| |
| - sendoff Buffer synchronization is deactivated. This setting is |
| only useful for central systems consisting of a single |
| application server. As soon as multiple application |
| servers are registered with the message server in a |
| system, the system automatically switches to the 'sendon' |
| behavior to avoid buffer inconsistencies. |
| |

| In releases below 7.10, it was also possible to use this parameter |
| to control whether synchronization records logged in DDLOG were |
| evaluated by an application server or not (additions 'exeauto' or |
| 'exeoff'. However, since changes to buffered objects can also |
| potentially be made by transports, the snychronizations records must |
| therefore always be evaluated to avoid buffer inconsistencies. This |
| also applies to central systems with only a single application |
| server. As of release 7.10, it is therefore no longer possible to |
| deactivate the evaluation of the synchronization records with the |
| addition 'exeoff'. |
| For reasons of compatibility, you can nevertheless still specify |
| this addition, but the system will ignore it. |
