| Every application server has only a limited number of work |
| processes. Depending on the application, there can be situations in |
| which, while processing a request, a work process assigns another |
| request to another work process of the same type and therefore goes |
| into a wait state. If it is not possible to release the work process |
| during the wait, there is a danger of a deadlock, since there might |
| be no free work processes available. This can usually only happen |
| with dialog processes. |

| You can use parameter rdisp/dynamic_wp_check to activate a check in |
| the SAP Dispatcher that recognizes deadlocks of this type and |
| triggers a suitable handling. To resolve the deadlock, the |
| dispatcher either uses "reserved" dialog processes or dynamically |
| starts a process of the required type. The changes to the server are |
| reset as soon as the deadlock no longer exists. |
