Online backup of SAP directories using BRMS
Bernd,In one of the previous releases of BRMS there was an error which could be
solved when starting and ending with an empty *EXIT (as a workaround). In
the meantime this error has been solved, but the recomendation is still
there....

IBM support recommends putting an empty *EXIT as first and last entries in
the BRMS backup control groups. No explanation given.
Also I noticed the default Notes control groups (QDOMINO) are configured
like this:
10 *EXIT
20 *EXIT QNOTES/SAVDOMBRM SERVER(DOM400) CTLGRP(QDOMINO)
30 *EXIT
...also with empty *EXITs
Anybody know why?
