After upgrading from V4R3 to V4R5, SAPOSCOL does not start when starting
SAP. In OS06, receive message "SAPOSCOL not running? (Shared memory
available)". When you try to start it via the gui button "Scheduled start",
you get the message "SF6007 /usr/sap/PRD/SYS/exe/run/saposcol" and the job
is not started.

I can start it on the AS/400 by doing "CALL SAPOSCOL ('-l')" with a user id
that has ALLOBJ authority. Note 175852 says that public authority for the
OS/400 collector APIs were set to *PUBLIC(*EXCLUDE) for V4R4 and above. I
found this to be the case and changed the authority to *USE, however I still
cannot start the collector from the gui.

Will this prevent SAPOSCOL from starting again the next time SAP is started?
If you encountered this problem, did you find another way around it? Also,
what subsystem does it run in, and under what user id?
