Hi Chris,That's interesting that you are on V4R4. I saw the problem a lot of times by
now, but only on V4R5. What's about your plan to upgrade to V4R5 ? When is
it scheduled as V4R4 runs out of maintance by the end of may ?
But anyway: You could try the workaround that I described. Perhaps it helps
on your site.
One more question: Are you able to logon with your user SIDnn ? (The default
password is SAPnnPWD, NOT SIDnnPWD!) Because I just talked to an IBM
collegue that explained me the situation that in the case he inspected, the
password couldn't be retrieved (for what ever reason). So the question would
be if you are still able to logon? Do you enable user automatically again ?
Please try in the error situation the transaction ST04. It should occur an
error-message. When you then stopped and restarted the *EDRSQL please try it
again and see if it works.
This information would be very valueble for us.
