Hello Volker!The CR/LF problem is a big issue for our ABAPers too.
They have to modify every program which writes into a
NT directory on our NFS server (NT 4.0, Hummingbird NFS).
Is there any ray of hope?

Hi,
when using NFS in transfering the data from the AS/400 to your target
system, it would be possible to let the conversion automatically be done
during the NFS access. I currently don't know if this is provided by QNTC
for a NT-share on AS/400 as well.
The only big point will be how to handle the LF and CR+LF problem when using
AS/400 and NT, because R3 on AS/400 uses LF even when AS/400 normally uses
CR+LF and NT needs CR+LF.
It is not possible to write the data in another codeapage than CCSID 500 in
SAP.
