Error upgrading Kernel
Hello fellow SAP collegue,I'm trying to upgrade the Kernel patch on one of my remote AS400 system. I'm
currently running SAP 31I on an AS400 V4R4M0. I have tried to use APYR3FIX to
upgrade the patch from my 400, each time I try to upgrade the patch I receive
the error: COULD NOT DETERMIN THE KERNEL VERSION. The syntax I'm using is as
follows: ===> APYR3FIX SID(T01) SAVF(QGPL/KERNEL) SAVLIB(GEN31IOPT)
KRNLIB(R3T01OPT) GET
SAVF(*YES) FROMHOST(AS0001) FROMDIR(QGPL) FROMFILE(*savf) RMTUSER(T01OFR)
RMTPWD()
Can anyone shed any light on what I'm doing wrong? You help as always will be
highly appreciated. By the way SAP was not very helpful.
