Just wanted to add that the only gui's we needed to reinstall were the onesthat we installed directly from the CD. The installations we did via
netsetup from the network installation server have all been upgraded, but no
uninstall was necessary.

We had some problems with the earlier compilations. We're using compilation
4 now and have not experienced any problems so far. You can tell which gui
version is installed on a PC by clicking the image at the top left corner of
SAPLogon, directly next to the words SAP Logon 46D. Then click About
Sapgui.

We're running 4.6D GUI on NT desktops with the GUI locally installed & are
also using SAP's new patch manager to roll out GUI patches
Two questions.....
1. Does anyone know how to tell the exact GUI patch# the desktop is
running?
2. Anyone else been having intermittent GUI issues, requiring a "GUI
reinstall?"
