STARTRFC program generates RFC and CPIC traces

Hi all,

We use the STARTRFC program located in the kernel library to upload idocs to
our R/3 system. Each idoc uploaded generates a CPIC & RFC trace in our IFS.
These traces are not caused by rfc connection definitions or by user traces.
I think they are caused by the startrfc call. The only parameter that might
cause this is the log flag. This is the 8th parameter of the call. In our
programs this is filled with the '-t' parameter meaning that startrfc will
write a log file to the working directory.

Does anyone know if this is correct and what the possible other values are
for this parameter? The ifs rfc trace file itself sets the trace to level 1
during rfcopen.

Thanks,

Tom van Rooyen
