Problems with D020L

Hi Jim,

What R/3 support package level are you at? And are you using the DMC
component?

Subject: Problems with D020L

We had a similar problem to this several weeks ago, and thought we could
avoid it by transporting offshift....

Last night, we imported some changes to program SAPMV45A, including an
updated user exit.

This morning, about 8:30am, we started getting shortdumps. Further
investigation showed update failures on D020L--record lock by another work
process. By looking at the appropriate record number in D020L, we've
identified several different screens for SAPMV45A, even the same one several
times. We've got user transactions failing, as well as some of our EDI
processing.

We're on a pretty old 4.6D kernel. I found note 405821, which seems to
describe our problem. Anyone know if this is really the case, and, if so,
is there some circumvention until we can get a new kernel on?

Thanks!

Jim Doll, Perrigo BASISperson
