Problem applying Dkernel 620 to our system

I recently upgraded to 46D kernel from 46B. I too ran in to problems (not
the exact one you did) and with Volker's help got everything applied
finally. There is an "extra" upgrade kernel note just for the CD at level
patch 543 (CD51014168) - the note is 406859.
So to recover, I rolled back the kernel to 46B (using note 148208 and my
backup savefile), then charged ahead again, using a combintation of steps
in note 3188846 as well as 406859. 3188846 has you do things like clear
the STAT file, delete the ABAP loads - so you really need both notes, but
any steps in 406859 should override any similar steps in the other note.
Basically 406859 instructs you to load and activate the kernel
separately.The one step I took not mentioned in the note is to log off and
back on again before starting SAP and applying patches, otherwise there is
confusion between the old and the new kernel libraries in your library
list.
Also, you could have a problem if license program 5769SS1 #32 (Directory
Services) is not on your system, so you may need to install this first (you
can search earlier messages for info on this). That problem is fixed as of
the latest kernel patch 620 - problem is you got to get there. So I also
installed the license pgm before the restart of the Kernel upgrade.

Does anyone have any recommendations on what I should do?
We're on v46b. Loaded the CD and then downloaded patches from SAPserv4.
Everything applied ok except for the "kernel" patch. I'm getting the error
message
"service program ABAP0LIB not updated". Tried to apply to our Sandbox
first which
is OS400 v4r5. The DSPJOBLOG shows the following:

Object THRUNLIB in GEN46DEOPT decompressed.
Cannot decompress object TPBTREELIB in GEN46DEOPT.
Cannot decompress object TPCHAINLIB in GEN46DEOPT.

Object DW in GEN46DEOPT decompressed.
Object GWRD in GEN46DEOPT decompressed.
Service program O4PRTLIB not found in library GEN46AOPT.
Object GEN46DEOPT in QSYS type *LIB renamed R3MNTOPT.
Library R3QTEMP removed from library list.
Service program ABAP0LIB not updated.
