Question about saving journal receivers.
Hi Joan,We wrote a CL which
- Displays the journal to *print
- Copies the spool file to a *PF
- Reads each record from the *PF
- If the receiver is marked as *Saved coming into the program, the receiver is
saved & then deleted. This ensures that every receiver is always saved onto 2
different tapes.
(we have some additional coding in the program for our MIMIX High Availability
software which will need to be deleted from the logic)
I am posting the source for the CL on the website under the name "SAVEJRNL"

Hi All,
I just want to know if somebody has a backup CL for journal
receivers that controls if they are saved twice and delete them, as
SAP recommends.
I'm creating our backup policy following the SAP guidelines and we
don't know how to automate this question.
