As far as I understand it if in V4 you have one of the licensed programsthat are now part of websphere development studio (ADTS, RPG, C) you will
automatically get WDS in V5, there is no other choice.
I think it is also possible to convert to WDS in V4 without extra cost.
Keep in mind though that if you have to do a processor group upgrade the
upgrade fee for WDS is much higher than the already high fee for ADTS
(thanks IBM!)

Hi Philip,
Hang onto that license. From V5R1, you can convert it into Websphere
Development Studio which includes ADTS, RPG, Cobol, C, C++, VA Java, CODE,
VA RPG, and WebFacing at NO CHARGE! Handy if you are doing any development,
regardless of language. A single license on a DEV system should do.
