Removing objects in /usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMSGnn/work

Try option 9 from wrklnk against the file to see the authorities, this may
be the problem.

Hi Yee Lih,
For example you have the file call c:\test\test1.txt, use the following
way to remove.

RMVLNK '/usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGSnn/work/c:?test?test1.txt'.

Thanks John. Yes, the path is in single quotes. I still cannot delete
them.

When you use option 4 for these files, you should prompt the delete
command and this will show you the RMVLNK command.  Make sure that the
object listed is in single quotes.

When I use WRKLNKSAP or WRKSAP to housekeep the
/usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMSGnn/work directory, I saw a number of objects with
names eg. c:\temp\testpca or c:123.txt. I guess some users must have
created
it via the SAP application as none of them has any ID in the AS/400.

The problem is that I CANNOT DELETE these objects. When I use option 4 to
remove them, the message says 'Object not found'. Surprisingly, I can view
the contents using option 5 and display the attributes. But I cannot
remove,
copy, rename the object. It always say 'Object not found'.

Anybody has any idea what is going on and how to delete them ?

Regards.
