Hi Klaus,is SAPOSCOL running there ?
Is it possible to connect to the shared-memory with the "native" saposcol as
follows ?
All options for SAPOSCOL:
call <Kernel-Lib>/SAPOSCOL [-dkrlfscvpgtomx] -i <interval> | -u [<sec>] | -e
[<sec>]
-d - dialog mode &eq> Have a look more down to the commands!!!
-k - kill the running collector
-r - kill the collector and print results
-l - launch the collector
-f - launch the collector in any case
-s - display status of the collector
-i - set new collecting interval
-v - show version of collector
-u - time until collector becomes 'idle'
-e - interval when collector is 'idle'
-c - clean shared memory
-p - put shared memory to file
-g - get shared memory from file
-t - set debug trace level
-n - set normal trace level
-o - print all data
-m - print all snapshot data
-x - test background process running and answers
Options for SAPOSCOL '-d':
Dialog Mode of the SAPOSCOL:
quit - Stop this program (but not the collector)
launch - Start the collector in the background
force - Forced start of the collector in the background
kill - Stop the Collektor
killprint - Stop the Collektor and print the results
stat - Shows the status of the collector
version - Shows the version of the collector
interval - Reset of the collectinterval
Parameter: <intervall ¢sec!>
dump - printf of the values in the shared memory:
Parameter: <type> ¢<subtype>!
type = hour ¨ cpu ¨ memory ¨ disk ¨ lan ¨ top ¨ config ¨ net ¨ s
trpt
subtype = single ¨ sum ¨ all ¨ used ¨ config
clean - Initialize the Shared Memory
leave - delete shared memory and de-attach
getidle - Set the time in seconds when the collector changes to 'idle'
when not being used
Without Parameter: Show, otherwise <sec>
(Only possible before the start of the collector)|
idleint - How long is the current idle-interval
Without Parameter: Show, otherwise <sec>
(Only possible before the start of the collector)|
detailson - always retrieve details
detailsoff - retrieve the details only when requested from R3
ask - Send a question to the collecting saposcol
The first letter of the command is enough when it is unique.
