Slow connection to SAP using SAPGui on Windows 2000
Hi All,we have installed a couple of windows 2000 professional pcs, and now
find that the connection to the saop system either using logon groups
or direct to an IP address can take 50+ seconds, where as windows NT
is about 10-15seconds...
We are also trialing Windows Terminal Services on a W2000 Server &
find the same problem.
The Pc's are running 4.6D Comp4, the server is running 4.6B (for some
reason).
once logged on, the performance of the SAP client is as good as NT,
and using /o to open another session is also comparable it just
appears to be initial connection..
anyone else out there using W2000 on the desktop getting the same
problem (or better still fixed it?)
