Note 424301
Hi all, when you should get trouble with the installation of new kernel-patches you
should have a look to the following note 424301. As it was translated an
hour ago, I put it in so that everybody can read it even when it may not
replicated by now.
Regards
Volker
Note 424301
Symptom
When you use command APYR3FIX, the following error message appears:
CPF3770:
Message...: No objects saved or restored for library PCH46DEOPT
In the job log you see the following error message for all objects:
CPF3766:
Message...: SRVPGM BTCLIB not restored to library GEN46DEOPT
Cause.....: The owner of the existing object is <SID>OWNER while the
owner of saved object is R3OWNER.
Additional key words
CPF3770, CPF3766, APYR3FIX, AS/400, PCH46DEOPT
Cause and prerequisites
The kernel library into which you wanted to import the Support Package
was copied with command CPYLIB before you entered command APYR3FIX.
This
causes a change of the owner of the library objects.
When you enter command APYR3FIX the above error occurs, because the
owner of the objects in the save file (R3OWNER) does not match with
owner of the existing kernel library.
Solution
Execute the following program as user QSECOFR:
CALL PGM(<krnlib>/FIXR3OWNS) PARM(<krnlib> *ALL)
or, as of Release 4.6A
FIXR3OWNS LIB(<krnlib>) OBJ(*ALL)
The owner is changed back to R3OWNER automatically.
You can now execute command APYR3FIX.
