Transporting ABAP Variants
I am trying to determine a method to transport custom ABAP program variants.I have tried the following:
* Using the normal transport system: There is no 'object type' for
custom ABAP variants (both LIMU VARI and LIMU VARX are for system variants
and SAP application variants, respectively)
* Using normal transport system: Use object type 'R3TR TABU' with
tables VARI, VARID, and VARIT. Unfortunately, the system gives an error
stating that you cannot move these entries manually.
* Using R3TRANS (transport control program): I was able to export ALL
variants, but not just the variants from a specific report (SELECT * FROM
VARI/VARID/VARIT exports all entries; with addition of WHERE REPORT =
'ZPAININMYSIDE' errors occurred.)
I am at a loss of what to try next. Any ideas?
