You might look into Knowledge Provider (KPro) and Document Management System
(DMS) which is also known as BDS (Business Document Services). There are
several R/3 applications (as of 4.6C) that will integrate images (documents)
in a context sensitive environment. In addition, when you link documents in
this way, those documents can be searchable from the web.
