4.6 UPG iSeries Sizing
Dear Alessandro,In upgrading from 3.x to 4.6X, it has been my experiance that you need to double
everything: CPU, Main memory and DASD.
Then you can expect about the same response times.
But a 'real' sizing should give you a better cosult.
You would either need the amount of heavy, medium and licht users per module
(user based), or the amount of transactions that you are going to perform
(transaction based sizing).
You can then do a quick sizing on sapnet.
