Transfer journal receivers to ASP1
Jerry, Karl,just to avoid misunderstandings:
In step 2 you should type ASP(1), when you have your RCVs in ASP 2 and
intend to move them to a RCV-lib in ASP 1.
According to the help function in the CHGJRN command you must create a new
RCV in your newly defined RCV-lib (using command CRTJRNRCV) before you can
name it in the JRNRCV parameter of the CHGJRN command.

ASP1
Jerry,
you can do it as follows:
BM__Toc525606514change Journal-Receiver from one ASP to another ASP
You need to stop your R/3 System (or disconnect)
1. Rename your current journal receiver library to another
name.
2. CRTLIB LIB(R3<sid>JRN) ASP(2) TEXT(Journal Receiver Library)
3. CHGJRN JRN(R3<sid>DATA) JRNRCV(R3<sid>JRN/<newname>)
4. Resume your R/3 System (or reconnect)
5. You may save detached receivers from the renamed journal
receiver
library and remove them from the system. All future journal receiver
changes
will now occur in the new R3<sid>JRN ASP location
kind regards

Betreff: Transfer journal receivers to ASP1
Hello everyone,
A few messages ago, there was some mention of not having ASP2 on a
Dev machine and putting the journal receivers in ASP1. Now the
question is, if my journal receivers are already in ASP2 how do I
transfer them to ASP1? Is it a very long process?
Any reply will be very much appreciated. Thank in advance.
