You find Files on the CD via the IFS path

/QOPT/cdname/dira/dirb/filename

where /QOPT is the "virtual directory" where the CD lies in
cdname is the volume label of the CD

If this is not needed anymore, how do you retreive files from a cd on the
AS400?

I think, this link shouldn't be necessary any longer. It may be created a
long time a go for the QOPT-access. But on our SAP AS/400s this is no longer
available. So it shouldn't be necessary on your systems as well.
