Multiple SAP systems (Different Versions) on one AS400 box
Hi: We have currently two instances (DEV and QAS) running on oneAS400 box. SAP version is 4.0B with kernel patch level 749. OS400
version is V4R5. We are planning to install a 4.6C system with its
own 4.6D kernel on the same box with DEV/QAS systems. According to
SAP this configuration is technically possible provided enough system
resources are available. Does any one have a similar configuration ?
Any information or suggestions will be helpful for planning the 4.6C
installation. One point emphasised in OSS notes is to make sure to
choose a new SID and system number. Do we share the usr/sap/trans
directory for transports if needed ? Any info appreciated.
