Time change this weekend
We are currently in a high availability situation (7 by 24) and I waswondering what others are doing with the time change this weekend in the US.
We have been told that we need to stop our SAP instance at 1:00 am this
Sunday morning, set the AS/400 time back one hour, and then wait for one
hour and one minute before restarting SAP.
This time delay will prevent any potential duplicate SAP transactions from
being time stamped with the same time as transactions created before the
time change, causing issues within SAP.
Does anyone have an alternative solution to this plan? The one hour of
downtime will cause us issues and I only want to do it if there are no
alternatives.
