4.5B: Read this when applying a patch from below to higher than 6 32 !
Hi 4.5B customers,SAP decided a time ago to change the ENQ structure in 4.5B in order to
support a special high-availability on HP-Unix as described in note 389290
and 310732.
When you now install a kernel-patch for 4.5B from below 632 to higher than
632, the new ENQ-WP can't read the old contents. So, you should shut down
SAP smoothly before and delete the ENQ file on the OS-level when SAP is
down.
The file is:
/usr/sap/<SID>/<INST>/log/ENQBC
(Just delete the file ENQBC with e.g. WRKLNKSAP.)
Then you should be able to start SAP with a kernel above 632 without any
problems.
