Help ME???

Hi Alberto,

You have several options here. The fastest one being going to the SAP
Marketplace with an Internet connection (if you have one). Go to the
patches section and download them to your PC. Once on your PC just FTP
them to your AS/400 into save files. Ensure you FTP them in binary mode
to the save files. Once on the AS/400 you use the APYR3FIX command by
entering you SID, save file name and library, saved library (which is
normally GEN<rel>DEOPT depending on your release), your kernel library,
get remote save file *NO

This is the fastest way for me and it does not require saprouter to be
running.
If you have configured your saprouter you can do the FTP right from the
APYR3FIX by using the get remote save file *YES as you now can enter
your sapservx host name and the path of the patch on sapservx. The patch
is downloaded first to your AS/400 then applied to your kernel library.
A fairly easy process as well.

Using this approach requires you saprouter to be configured (on your
system as well as on the SAP side) and you have to enter sapservx in the
host table of the AS/400.

As this works also fine it is painstakingly slow as you don't have as
fast an OSS connection to SAP (as you have with the Internet). Because
of the line speed to OSS I have I never really use this download option
(unless my Internet connection is down).
