Hi Thomas,I don't know what are are meaning with "Our responstimes are not as good as
we like it.", but please keep in mind, that you increase the complete
workload that you can run, when you are using 3-tier, but are NOT reducing
the responstimes per user!!! At least not in the empty system as 3-tier is
always a bit slower than 2-tier, when the systems are "empty".
When it is the point that your responsetimes are too bad, because the server
is overloaded, 3-tier may be a choice for you and it may be that the
responsetime will decrease.
But the main argument for 3-tier is the complete workload and not the
individual responsetime!
