Connection trough OSS

Hi All

I too have a problem with setting up OSS link in my office.

I have set up a NT machine dedicated as a saprouter with 2 ethernet
adaptor. Adaptor 1 pointing to my internal LAN (Internal IP address)
where adaptor 2 (with IP addresses assigned by SAP for both the
adaptor and ISDN router) is setup to a ISDN router for dialling up to
sapserv7.

I managed to sucessfully connected to OSS via the frontend SAPGUI with
parameters setting in sapmsg.ini and saproute.ini.

However when I am not able to connect to OSS via OSS1 transaction even
after correctly setup the technical setting.

Whwnever I try to logon to OSS (via OSS1) the error message appears
and "Unable to connect to OSS message server, Default connection will
be used ...". Even after choosing OK, another error pops up with
"route permission denied (xxxxxxxx to sapserv7, sapdp01)

I have set up the saprouttab entries as follow

P sapserv7 * *
P * sapserv7 * *

any clue would be greatly appreciated, thanks !!

p.s. do I need to add a TCPIP routing entry to destination address
(adaptor 2) thru gateway (adaptor 1) ?

regards

mick
