APAR strategy
We START up to date (i.e. go to the max and most recent level)and STAY THERE as long as we have no problems.
Then JUMP again to the current level.
Our current level is more than "9 months old".
Why? Had problems with being too up to date in the past.

Hi All,
We are still a few months from production - so I have time to think about
our future APAR (PTF) strategy. The APAR II12833 (V5R1) changes about as
often as the weather. I would like to know what the common practice
is...should I attempt to stay up to date, should I apply the latest PTFs on
a quarterly basis...?
What is your policy?
Thanks for any information or thoughts on this...
