How to upgrade to an ASCII database.
Hi Joan,In order to go to the new GLS version on iSeries (ASCII), you are right, you
have to be on 4.6C. For the GLS version of 4.6C you'll need at least V4R5M0,
but I would recommend now to install V5R1.
The database conversion is done with an export and an import via R3load as
you are probably already used to.
