TMS
Hi Des,I am interested in the CL you are using to perform transports. Please send me
the source. I would like to use it if it is faster than TMS.
Thanks in advance.

Hi, Jerry.
I tried setting up the TMS in our landscape and the process was relatively
straight forward. I also found, however, that doing the transports at OS
level were a lot simpler and faster. The STMS transaction creates too many
complications. I have written CL jobs to facilitate the transport process.
All I need to do at OS is use a custom command TRANSPRD or TRANSTST (to
systems PRD and TST respectively) with the transport number, e.g. TRANSPRD
DEVK915899, and the rest is done automatically. So, I undid the TMS
configuration and have continued to use the simpler OS transporting.
Let me know if you're interested in the CL's. I'll gladly send you the
source.

Hello Peter,
Thanks for your help. Actually I'm used to doing transport using tp
on the OS level. Transaction STMS is something new to me. Once again,
thanks for your help.
Best regards,
Jerry Escobia.
