suppress the printing of job information
You need to turn off the banner page for the HP jetdirect card.From a command line on the Iseries type TELNET press enter.
Press enter twice to initialize session.
The the printer IP addess in the REMOTE SYSTEM parameter and press enter.
type "banner:0" and press enter.
Type "quit" to end telnet session and save settings
To check current printer settings (while in TELNET)
type "/" and enter. The banner setting should be "disabled".
