BCC Technologies - Another Attempt
My fellow iSeries groupies,
I have been inundated with "chat" regarding the SPAM from BCC technologies.
Please refrain from broadcasting dozens of "I agree with you" messages to
the group - it is becoming more annoying than the once-in-a-blue-moon
"SPAM" message from "poor ole dumb Dave Sebastian".
Maybe something we should all take into account is that there might be some
of us out here who don't mind receiving the occassional or
special, so don't believe you are taking the best interests of all of us at
heart when you go out to get Dave fired or something. I personally think
that the man showed some initiative in his marketing to find a group that
is SUPPOSED to be iSeries and advertise/market hardware that is iSeries
related. Sure, he may have been out of line in continuing his crusade when
asked to stop, but if he continues sending to individuals and not to the
group any more, then let it be up to each of the individuals to reply to
him requesting not to be on his mailing list any more.
Honestly, I get to work in the morning and spend the first 15 minutes of my
day reading through messages from this group that are more about "bitching"
than technical questions and answers. Let's keep it professional guys,
please.
