EBCDIC to ASCII Coversion Rate

Hi Chris,

the growth in size is just for the R3PRDDATA, but as there will be for the
database about 90% (or more) of the total diskusage, it won't make a big
difference.

As we tried to enhance and optimize the latest ASCII kernels, it could even
be that there is no need for more memory and CPU. So, it is somewhere
between 0 and 10% each. EIf your system has enough capacity at the moment,
it won't be necessary to enhance it.

Regards

Volker

Alan, one more question.

Am I correct in assuming that these calculations are for the total
system (PRD LPAR) or and not for the R3PRDDATA library size alone?

Thanks,
Chris
