Displaying Graphics from ITS
We are running SAP 4.6C on Iseries. I have ITS version 610 installedon a Windows 2000 server. We use KPRO (knowledge provider) version
610 running on Windows 2000.
We have TIFF, JPEG and HPGL documents loaded in KPRO. When I view
these using SAP GUI, SAP retrieves the drawing via HTTP and the ECL
viewer within the GUI displays the drawing.
When I use ITS, I can get to the DIR BUT when I double click on the
drawing I want to display, I get a "Page Can Not be Found" error.
Within ITS, I go to CV03N and the drawing entry is there. When I move
the cursor over the top of the entry, the mouse pointer changes to a
hand...I can only double click on this entry and this is what
produces the page not found error.
Do I need to install the IGS pagakage for displaying these graphics
within ITS? Or is there some other way to invoke the ECL viewer or
another viewer? What are my options for this?
There was a earlier problem with ITS displaying garbage instead of
the graphic. This was using Workplace on a Iseries. Does anyone know
if this process I'm doing will also result in garabge...ascii/ebcdic
problems?
