Problem when transporting

Hi Gerd.

If your TP job is not running, you should get a logon screen for each
system. Once you signon, it should run for a while but it will quit at some
point if you have not done a transport in a while. I don't think you
normally get one for a local system though.

If this is happening everytime you go to an import que, try from your Import
Overview screen (all queues are displayed), put your cursor on a que and
then execute a consistency check. Then, you can also select a que and then
from the menu: Goto => TP System Log. These will show you if the TP jobs had
any issues with anything.

Good Luck,
Chris

Subject: Problem when transporting

Hi group,

I have a problem doing transports in an 4.0B environment (820 on
4.5.0, kernel 929, SP75).

The transport system is running but when using STMS do display the
import queues, or clicking on an import queue, I always get a logon
screen (sometimes multiple logon screens for the "remote" but also
the local system).

I have TMSADM on all systems client 000 with the same password (I
changed them to on-line user to verify it). I also assigned SAP_ALL
to TMSADM to verify if it's an authority problem. It still does not
work with SAP_ALL.

I also checked all SM59 TMSADM* entries. I initially had created them
manually, which were subsequently overridden when distributing the
TMS configuration from the domain controller. I can do the local and
remote connection without a problem. I verified the TMSADM
configuration with a 4.6C system and they are the same.

I'm kind of stuck at the moment and was wondering if there is
anything else in 4.0B that I could/should check.

Thanks
Gerd
