Ordering Software Catalog
Hi Volker.The change did not hit the right person Z our company either. Our Chief
Financial Officer at our corporate office is the contact person. I'm not
even sure if he knows where your web page is so that makes it extra
difficult for us.
We have 7 people in our COE for SAP and everyone knows that only the Basis
team orders software so it was not a problem for us before now.

I don't know, if the change hit in many cases the "right person". In your
case obviously not.
But: Please keep in mind, that SAP (and the customers) had often the
problem, that software was requested several times and seemed not to become
delivered, because it was mailed to the wrong persons. I think, this can be
improved with this idea - at least when you manage it to change the ordering
from your partner to you.

Have any of you tried to order software from SAP's Software Catalog?
SAP was kind enough to change things around on 6-22-2002 to "reduce
administration effort at your site". There is ONE person per installation
who can order items in the software catalog. They were nice enough to
change it from the customer(us) to our SAP partner.
