Very large temp storage

Hi Rudy!

Alex calling......

Our environment is OS/400 510 SAP 4.5B!

I have tried to specify:

rdisp/noptime 87000
rdisp/wp_auto_restart 86400

When checking in RZ10 I get warnings on the rdisp/noptime parameter -
'unknown parameter - check cannot be performed'
Ignoring this warnings and restarting the app.server with
the new paramters it seems as if they actually have effect!
24 hours after app.server restart I do observe several
'.....Start Workproc x, pid yyyy'
messages in the system log. I presume these are caused by the
rdisp/wp_auto_restart parm) . But I must admit that the information
provided in these messages (also in detail) does NOT state the reason
to the (re)start!
I also would expect to see preceeding messages when the WPs are ended!

q1) How can I be shure that the parameter(s) actually work ?
q2) Is there some requirements on 4.5B for the rdisp/noptime ?
