Finding Program Which Causes IO Activity Shown in ST04
I use ST04, "Detailed Analysis Menu" then "File Activity" to monitorthe IO's on individual tables. We produce a enormous amount of IO's
daily to certain files (anywhere from several million to several
hundred million logical io's). From these statistics you can select a
given table to see SQL statements/packages performed aginst the table.
Does anyone know how to trace these statements back to find what
program is performing them? Or does anyone know how to find the
programs which are causing massive IO's against a table?
Any help would be appreciated.
