What different Problems do you have with t he Service Marketplace ?
Hi Phillip,I was able to convince the people, that the most interesting people in the
Service Marketplace for SAP were the "former OSS users". This means, that we
have to find an optimal solution especially for them. now, the group thinks
about a new page, that is more like the current OSS view and helps
especially this group to find the needed stuff.
You are talking about "java errors". Are you by any chance using IE 6.0 ? I
don't know the current situation, but a few months ago, this was not supported
from SAP, because a lot of old stuff, that worked with 5.0 and 5.5 and is used
from SAP, does no longer work. So, we all use IE5.5. I don't know
of any errors at the moment. Are your errors reproducible ?
The nots-display hopefully gets exchanged with the current print-view, that is
an "complete" view already. The message handling in Service Marketplace gets
completly reworked.

What's the most common problems?
Biggest problem is finding anything. I admit I don't use it, except
if the OSS connection is down for whatever reason. Maybe if I used
more I could learn to navigate, but the slow speed makes exploritory
navigation painful.
Not that I'm afraid of change, but they couldn't layout a page w/
links arranged like the old OSS?
Newest problem today is "java errors" on the main Support page, so I
can't get to anything, might need to reboot, but I won't. I'll just
skip it and use the old way if I need OSS.
One thing I like is the Notes linked. Clicking on referenced notes
is a great advantage. Ok, its the only thing I've found I like.
Suggestion. Since we are paying for OSS support:
1. we don't need a wizbang graphical, colorful, animated, java
enabled web page to entice us to browse & read the ads
2. All the content of OSS is text based, Start over. Use a simple
html text based layout. No more speed complaints. Then you can
enhance it after you've made everybody happy.
That's my two cents worth.
