Hi Jenny,
could it be that the authority in your kernel library or your database is
not ok.
So first I would use "FIWR3OWNS". Signon as QSECOFR, addlible R3-Kernel,
FIXR3OWNS (for the kernel library).
Try to start your system again.
If this do not work, look at the logfiles for your work processes in
/usr/sap/SEP/DVEBMGS02/work/dev.....
There you should find the reason.
If this is do not work look for the authority an the journaling of your
database. If there is somthing wrong you can use: AS4FIXFILE.

Everyone,
we restored our test system from the whole system backup tap(GO
BACKUP -> 21) on a new machine. The new machine has the same OS
version(V5R1) and the same hostname(CFGTCP) with the old machine.
we used the command like below to restore:
GO RESTORE --> 23 -->
Specify Command Defaults
Type choices, press Enter.
Devices . . . . . . . . . . . TAP01 Names

Prompt for commands . . . . . N Y=Yes, N=No
Message queue delivery . . . . *NOTIFY *BREAK, *NOTIFY
Restore to different system. . Y Y=Yes, N=No
We received the error message CPF3779, CPF9003 during the RSTLIB,
RSTDLO.
We can logon the system to use <SID>OFR after restore. But when we
started sap use:
>STARTSAP <SID> 00
we can see only the info like below:

when we use the command DSPJOBLOG and can see:
